Elgie Auman is an aspiring Cloud Security Engineer and cybersecurity specialist who recently graduated from a 2-year Diploma in Cyber Security at ABM College, Calgary Campus, Alberta, Canada. Originally from Palawan, Philippines, he moved to Canada in 2022 to pursue greater opportunities in the tech industry. With over 2 years of Service Desk experience, he brings strong analytical and problem-solving skills to cybersecurity. Actively transitioning from a Biology background, he has developed expertise in SOC and security operations (Splunk SIEM, incident response, threat monitoring), frameworks and standards (MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, Security+ concepts), networking and systems (Active Directory, Azure, Windows Server), scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Linux Shell), and IT service tools (ServiceNow, JIRA, Microsoft 365). Elgie is now ready to begin his professional journey in cybersecurity, applying his skills to safeguard digital infrastructure and support effective security operations.
